My design is inspired by the heritage of my family, my scandinavian background and the strong contrast between the two countries who taught me how to be a designer : France & Ja
pan.
I graduated from the Bauhaus University and NZU Nagoya University of Arts in Japan and made my first work experiences at Jean Nouvel and H5 in Paris.
After two years working in Japan and learning about the japanese art of craftsmanship, I returned to Paris and transformed my personal legacy into the design label « The Hansen Family », an Editor of handmade furniture.
My studio is now situated in the green lung of Paris, the forest of Fontainebleau.
I advise renown Furniture, Hospitality and Design Companies in matters of trend forecasting, material research and form language.
Among our successful collaborations were clients such as Villeroy & Boch, Bauwerk, Sid Lee, Klafs, Dom Perignon, Le Mont Saint Michel, Armani …
